Labor
Well, I went into labor Sunday August 15th. I had been having increasing contractions since my doctors visit on Thursday the 12th and by Saturday night I couldn't tell what was a contraction and what wasn't. Seth had been traveling for work and had been gone the past 3 weeks, except for short weekends home. He was able to come home on Thursday night instead of Friday. We spent Friday and Saturday getting things done that I couldn't do without him. My parents drove in from Utah on Saturday as well. It was as if we all sort of sensed that something was going to happen. I went to bed Saturday night and could never fall asleep. I was so uncomfortable and everytime I started to doose off I was awoken by pain. I waited until 2:00 am to wake Seth and tell him I think we need to go to the hospital and get checked out. I was at the point that my stomach was constantly tight. It wouldn't relax in between contractions and I was miserable. Seth and I actually went to the hospital thinking we would be sent home. They monitored me for about 30 minutes and then had me walk the halls for 45 min. When they rechecked me I had dilated from a 2 to a 3. They then did an ultrasound to check position of the babies and they were head down. So, the doctor decided to admit me. She said she would let me labor on my own and if I continue to labor than they wouldn't stop it. By 10:30 Sunday morning I was getting an epidural and the doctor broke one of my waters. I continued to labor all day until my cervix was not only dilated but thin. At about 9:20 pm I started to push and Cambrie was born at 9:56 pm. Noah was farther up and needed to descend down. They had me contract a few times to get him to move before I started pushing again. Noah was born at 10:25 pm. I was very lucky not to have needed a c-section and no epsiotomy. They were born 35 weeks and 6 days.
Both were taken to NICU. They both needed a little help with breathing and were put on CPAP. It's now been a week since I delivered and they are both still in NICU. Noah should come home tomorrow but Cambrie will stay a few more days. Her heart rate dropped really low witch bought her an extra 5 days in NICU. Seth and I are so thankful for our two little angels. I never thought I could love so much and I never thought I could worry so much. It has been a long, tiring, and very emotional week.

35 weeks pregnant
Well, I have made it to 35 weeks. Seth and I are praying that I make it 2-3 more weeks. So far everything has been going smoothly with no complications. This past week I was put on bed rest/minimal activity. Just when I thought I couldn't possibly get any bigger, I do. I am now at that point of being miserable. I can't seem to get comfortable in any position and nights are by far the worst. I'm lucky to get 3-5 hours of sleep between the constant urination and trying to find a comfortable position. Besides being huge and starting to feel contractions, I feel I have reverted back to my first trimester with heartburn, constant urination, insomnia, and nausea. I have to admit, as happy as I am to be pregnant and as joyous as I will be to welcome these two angles into this world, I do not like being pregnant.
